Introduction
Sumayyah qualified as a dental nurse in 2012. She gained her NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing at Tameside College. Her current position is assisting the dentist in surgery and helping with reception tasks. Sumayyah has completed a course in "Making prevention work in practice" allowing her to deliver oral health advice to patients and apply prescribed fluoride varnish, she has also now completed her sedation training. She hopes to progress in the future by attending more courses aimed at dental nurses to better her knowledge.
