Tasmia graduated in 2005 from the University of Birmingham & has been practicing in general practice since. Tasmia has a special interest in paediatric dentistry and has been involved in campaigns at primary schools across Manchester in order to encourage kids to look after their oral hygiene. Tasmia is also currently a chairperson of Local Dental Network in Greater Manchester and has been selected to train newly qualified dentists in General Practice
Sin qualified from The University of London in 1998, and worked at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester as a House Officer. He then decided to move into the field of Surgical Dentistry, where he acquired his surgical training as a Senior House Officer and Clinical Assistant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He attained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS) in 2001, and completed his Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Manchester in 2004. In 2010, he gained his PhD with a research topic to examine postoperative pain relief following oral surgery.
Sin is currently working in various practices around Manchester providing implants, oral surgery and intravenous sedation services. He is a clinical supervisor and examiner for postgraduate students in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Manchester. He is an Intercollegiate Advisory Committee for Sedation in Dentistry (IACSD) accredited trainer, and.has also lectured extensively in oral surgery and conscious sedation.
Dr Jasim Greval qualified from The University of Manchester in 2014.
Dr Jasim Greval has worked in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery across a variety of hospitals including Manchester Royal Infirmary, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Wigan and Leigh Infirmary, Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, The Countess of Chester, and Liverpool Dental Hospital. He achieved Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCPSG) in 2016.

Dr Junaid Iqbal graduated from the University of Manchester in 2013. After completing Foundation training in Leeds he was offered the position of Senior House Officer in Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Here he successfully completed his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and was awarded his Diploma in 2015. He completed a certificate in Advanced Restorative Dentistry on Harley Street London in 2016 and then pursued further postgraduate training in Dental Implantology. Dr Iqbal developed a special Interest in Oral Surgery and he now works both in hospital and in multiple dental practices across Manchester and Liverpool accepting referrals for complex Wisdom teeth, Dental Implants and Apicectomies. He also offers Intravenous Sedation for his nervous and anxious patients. He is an IACSD and STAC accredited mentor for IV sedation, a SAAD Member and IV Sedation trainer. He is also an active Examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
He has given lectures regionally and internationally on topics such as Oral Cancer and Oral Disease and teaches Oral Surgery to Undergraduate Dental Students at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester.
In his spare time Junaid likes to swim and is an avid Scuba Diver.
Dr. Arfeen Aslam graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Dentistry, King’s College London and obtained his membership of the faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012.
He has completed various postgraduate dental courses including a one year certificate in advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry, followed by gaining recognition as a fully certified provider of a wide range of orthodontic treatments providing both fixed and removal cosmetic braces solutions. Arfeen has recently completed a year long programme in implant placement. He has a real passion for this field of dentistry.
Arfeen takes real pride and pleasure in his work. Along with a caring, ethical approach he strives to make a difference to each and every person that he treats.
Outside of dentistry, he combines his passion of sport and travelling to watch numerous sporting events around the world and experience new cultures.
Dr Robin Varty graduated from Manchester Dental School in 2010. He has worked in general practice across the city for many years. During this time he has been on many aesthetic course days to learn about improving patients’ smiles using porcelain veneers, composite fillings and cosmetic whitening.
Dr Varty believes in hard work and being very thorough. He aims to make sure that all his patients are aware of their options when it comes to treatment and that they discuss them together.
Dr Rebecca Kee graduated from Manchester dental school in 2015. Dr Kee is originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland but she has been living in Manchester now for around 9 years.
She has worked in both mixed nhs and private practice. At work her passion is working with children and anxious patients to help them feel at ease and realise the dentist isn’t really all that scary! Dr Kee has a keen interest in aesthetic treatments such as Botox and fillers which she can provide when she has a clinic here on Thursdays.
Outside of work Dr Kee enjoys travelling, the gym and socialising with friends.
Dr Aquila Tahir graduated with a BDS in 2013 at the University of Liverpool, receiving the Tom Pitt-Ford prize in Endodontology. Dr Aquila Tahir has been working as an associate in general practice since completing foundation training. Although she enjoy all aspects of general dentistry she is very keen on putting anxious patients at ease in a relaxed and friendly environment as well focusing on enhancing the treatment and prevention of gum disease. Dr Aquila Tahir is certified in providing short term orthodontics such as Quick Straight Teeth. Dr Aquila Tahir has been involved on implementing the ‘Healthy gums DO matter’ toolkit produced by the Greater Manchester Local Dental Network. Through successful completion of examinations, Dr Aquila Tahir is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of Edinburgh, demonstrating her commitment to continuous professional development. Outside of dentistry, Dr Aquila Tahir enjoys spending time with her family. Dr Aquila Tahir is also a certified Hair and Make-up Artist.
Miss Jade Tan qualified as a dental nurse in 2014, obtaining the National Diploma in Dental Nursing. She then went on to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy at the University of Manchester, graduating with honours in BSc Oral Health Science. As a dually qualified dental hygienist and dental therapist, Jade is able to prevent and treat gum disease, carry out fillings on adult and baby teeth, remove the nerves from and extract baby teeth, take impressions, take x-rays and administer local anesthetic.
Rachel began her dental career in 2011. She enrolled on the NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing at Tameside College and became qualified in 2012. She has worked her way up to becoming the Head nurse at the practice. She has various duties within the practice, from working on the reception to assisting the dentist in surgery. She is always there to ensure all of the nurses working in the practice are happy.
Sumayyah qualified as a dental nurse in 2012. She gained her NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing at Tameside College. Her current position is assisting the dentist in surgery and helping with reception tasks. Sumayyah has completed a course in ‘Making prevention work in practice’ allowing her to deliver oral health advice to patients and apply prescribed fluoride varnish, she has also now completed her sedation training. She hopes to progress in the future by attending more courses aimed at dental nurses to better her knowledge.
I’m Katie. I started as a Trainee dental nurse in 2012 and qualified in 2013 at The Manchester Academy. I am now a registered dental nurse. I divide my time at the practice between nursing for the oral surgeons, helping the patients feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible, assisting on reception often focusing on Minor oral surgery referrals, printing and making appointments for referred patient and also doing consultations for the IV Sedation patients. I really enjoy my job and working as part of the team.
Rhea qualified as a dental nurse and achieved her NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2016. She works along-side the dentist assisting in the care of patients, making sure the patients are at ease, help them feel comfortable and relaxed during their dental visit. She carries out her nursing duties throughout the practice.
Oliver is a qualified dental nurse and has achieved his NVQ level 3 diploma in dental nursing. Oliver qualified in 2017 at Tameside College. Oliver came to our practice in 2018 after working in another dental practice. Oliver works alongside the dentist making sure patients are at ease and feel comfortable when in the dental chair. Oliver is currently attending Manchester dental hospital to gain a sedation qualification.
Charlie has recently qualified as a dental nurse and, she has got her NVQ level 3 in dental nursing. Charlie works alongside a dentist helping patients feel comfortable and at ease whilst seeing the dentist, Charlie joined the practice in 2019
Lara is a trainee dental nurse, she currently started working at the practice in February she is attending college to achieve her NVQ level 3 diploma in dental nursing.
Kacie is a trainee dental nurse; she started working at the practice in October 2018 and is working towards her dental nurse qualification at college which she started in March 2019.
