Dr Khan is a Principal dentist & Clinical Director at The Lodge Dental. Dr Khan graduated in 2005 from the University of Birmingham & has been practising Dentistry since. She has also pursued post-graduate learning at UCLAN in paediatric dentistry. Tasmia has a special interest in paediatric dentistry and has been leading campaigns at primary schools across Manchester to encourage kids to look after their oral hygiene. She has also been a lead initiator & campaigner for the public health initiative “Baby Teeth Do Matter”. Dr Khan has also in the past led the Local Dental Network as a chairperson in Greater Manchester. She has also been a mentor and trainer for newly qualified dentists in General Practice. Dr Khan's key interests are Paediatrics & Minor Oral Surgery.
Claudia gained her BDS qualification from the University of Glasgow in 2016 and worked in a number of practices in Scotland before moving to Manchester.
Claudia has also gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in England and is a qualified Facial Aesthetics practitioner.
Claudia has a keen interest in minimal invasive cosmetic dentistry and enjoys using white filling materials in her day to day work.
Outside of work, Claudia is a bit too busy. Engaging in public speaking, counselling and running a food bank. You’ll often hear her laughing before you see her.
Sin qualified from The University of London in 1998, and worked at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester as a House Officer. He then decided to move into the field of Surgical Dentistry, where he acquired his surgical training as a Senior House Officer and Clinical Assistant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He attained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS) in 2001, and completed his Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Manchester in 2004. In 2010, he gained his PhD with a research topic to examine postoperative pain relief following oral surgery.
Sin is currently working in various practices around Manchester providing implants, oral surgery and intravenous sedation services. He is a clinical supervisor and examiner for postgraduate students in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Manchester. He is an Intercollegiate Advisory Committee for Sedation in Dentistry (IACSD) accredited trainer, and.has also lectured extensively in oral surgery and conscious sedation.
Mr Greval qualified from The University of Manchester in 2014. He has worked in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery across a variety of hospitals including Manchester Royal Infirmary, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Wigan and Leigh Infirmary, Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, The Countess of Chester, and Liverpool Dental Hospital. He achieved Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCPSG) in 2016.
Dr Jasim Greval is currently working at The Lodge Dental performing Minor Oral Surgery and Intravenous Sedation services.
“Hi, I’m Mollie. In 2021, I qualified with a BSC in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Leeds. I am currently undertaking my dental therapy foundation training at The Lodge Dental.
In my role, I enjoy providing aesthetic composite build ups and stain removal, along with preventative treatment such as scaling, fluoride varnish and minimally invasive restorations. I love to work with children and I am passionate about providing oral hygiene advice.
In my spare time I love to read and draw, playing musical instruments and I have just started to learn Hindi.
Dr Azhar Ghafoor graduated in 2016 from The University of Leeds. He is a Cosmetic Dentist who has completed a year long Postgraduate Certificate in restorative dentistry. Dr Ghafoor has completed many courses to enhance his skills and is currently undergoing a postgraduate qualification in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment).
Dr Ghafoor is dedicated to creating bespoke treatment plans for every patient. His attentive personality means that he takes his time to listen to the needs of his patients. His calm and approachable nature helps put nervous patients at ease.
Invisalign, C fast braces, root canal treatment, composite bonding and veneers are some of the many treatments Dr Ghafoor provides. His main focus is basing treatment on minimal invasive dentistry.
He is an avid football fan with a keen interest in general sports. A family man who enjoys going out and exploring new places.
Sumayyah qualified as a dental nurse in 2012. She gained her NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing at Tameside College. Her current position is assisting the dentist in surgery and helping with reception tasks. Sumayyah has completed a course in ‘Making prevention work in practice’ allowing her to deliver oral health advice to patients and apply prescribed fluoride varnish, she has also now completed her sedation training. She hopes to progress in the future by attending more courses aimed at dental nurses to better her knowledge.
I’m Katie. I started as a Trainee dental nurse in 2012 and qualified in 2013 at The Manchester Academy. I am now a registered dental nurse. I divide my time at the practice between nursing for the oral surgeons, helping the patients feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible, assisting on reception often focusing on Minor oral surgery referrals, printing and making appointments for referred patient and also doing consultations for the IV Sedation patients. I really enjoy my job and working as part of the team.
Sue qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School (UMDS) in 1989.
After completing a year’s vocational training at a practice in Ashford in Kent Sue stayed on at the practice providing general dentistry while developing her interest in orthodontics. Sue then completed the Postgraduate Orthodontic Training Scheme based in the orthodontic department at Canterbury Hospital from 1992 to 1994 and has continued to provide orthodontic treatment for both NHS and private patients part time since then.
After moving to Manchester in 1997 Sue has continued working part time in orthodontics and part time providing general dentistry in several different practices.
My name is Mazada, I have been dental nursing for 18 years. I have a passion for nursing in minor oral surgery, which I have been doing continuously for 7 years, I have a NEBDN certificate in sedation dental nursing at the lodge dental I get pleasure helping patients and putting them at ease during their dental treatment. In my spare time I spend a lot of time with my family doing fun activities.
Hi my names Chloe and I am a qualified dental nurse, I completed my level 3 diploma in dental nursing in 2013 and since then I have worked in different dental practices assisting various treatments including a lot of cosmetic dentistry. I enjoy being a part of patients smile journey and building a great relationship with them. Recently I have come out of surgery and spend a lot more of my time doing free treatment consultations to help educate our patients on the different treatment and payment options available and which ones they may be suitable for.
Sophie qualified as a dental nurse and achieved her NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2019. She has a special interest in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. When Sophie is not in surgery she is usually in reception putting patients at ease and helping them along their dental journey.

Hajra qualified as a dentist from Medical University Sofia. She is a patient-oriented dentist with a passion for delivering high-quality dental services to patients. She is passionate about building a long- term rapport with patients, and creating a friendly, relaxed environment for them and their families.
Hajra has a strong interest in aesthetic dentistry. She is always on the hunt to excel and expand her knowledge. Outside of dentistry, Hajra loves photography, spending time with family and friends and travelling.
